Boothstrapped is the collaborative project of Amsterdam-based artists Boris Remmers and Thiago Geesink, who bring their shared passion for groove-driven sounds to the dance floor. Their journey started in local scenes, with Boris building his foundation on groovy, bouncy house and Thiago developing a deep affinity for energetic, soulful sets. Both quickly found their way into respected venues such as Yellow House, where their playful yet professional approach made an impact.
With Boothstrapped, the duo merges their strengths into a distinctive style that blends slapfunk, deep house, speed garage, and high-energy grooves. Their sets are built around rhythm and flow rather than effects, allowing the music to speak for itself. Inspired by figures such as Chris Stussy, Samuel Deep, and Mochakk, Boothstrapped balances raw basslines with melodic textures, keeping the crowd locked in a constant push and pull of tension and release.
Community and connection are at the heart of Boothstrapped’s vision. They want their name to stand for a guaranteed vibe, where audiences know they’ll experience fun, energy, and discovery.
