Follow the Dopamine is an Amsterdam-based artist booking and management agency for electronic music artists who move independently, think differently and build from instinct.
We represent artists, curate lineups and develop concepts that connect scenes, generations and communities. Our work lives between club culture, artist development, community building and nightlife programming.
We are here for artists who do not want to fit into a formula, and for venues and events that want more than just a name on a lineup.
Follow the Dopamine was founded by Dawn de Jong in Amsterdam, from a love for electronic music, nightlife, artist development and the people who keep club culture alive.
The agency works with independent artists who have a strong sound, clear identity and the potential to grow in their own direction. We believe artists should not have to play industry games or fit into existing bubbles to be taken seriously.
Our role is to create structure, visibility and opportunities around artists without taking away their creative freedom.
We book artists for clubs, festivals, second rooms, intimate stages and culture-driven events.
We support artists with strategy, communication, positioning, content, press materials and long-term development.
We curate lineups and concepts that make sense musically, culturally and emotionally.
We create spaces where different scenes, generations and communities can meet on the dancefloor.
For us, dopamine is not about chasing hype. It is about recognizing where the real energy is and building from there.
We want to create a more open, transparent and playful music industry, where independent artists have access to the same quality of support, bookings and career development as artists inside more established networks.
Between generations. Between genres. Between newcomers and established names. Between artists, audiences and organizers. Follow the Dopamine exists to make those connections happen.
Artists should have space to develop their own sound, identity and path.
We take the work seriously, but we never want to lose the joy, chaos and experimentation that make music culture alive.
Clear agreements, honest communication and visible processes are the foundation of trust.
There is no single right way to be an artist. We support individuality in all its forms.
We burst bubbles between scenes, generations and communities by putting people in the same room and letting the music do the rest.
Follow the Dopamine was founded by Dawn de Jong, an Amsterdam-based booking agent, curator and creative organizer with a background in nightlife, marketing, communication and operations.
Dawn moves between artists, venues, organizers and communities with a strong instinct for connection. Her work is rooted in Amsterdam club culture and the belief that talent should not be limited by industry politics, closed networks or outdated expectations.
Through Follow the Dopamine, Bubble House and wider creative projects, she builds structures where artists can grow, communities can meet and ideas can become real.
Follow the Dopamine is for artists, venues and communities who want to build something with meaning, energy and direction.
